I want to see the world, but I also want to make connections with people. Where I grew up there was very little diversity. I want to learn about other cultures, and make new friends. I feel as though there is no better way to get to know a person than to be invited into the heart of their lives.

I spend most of my free time writing and exploring. I play the piano and am currently learning to speak French. I have a large family and we are very close. We hike, travel, cook, etc.

My musical taste varies from Frank Sinatra to the Ramones. It really depends on the day, and what mood I'm in. I love Irish music, punk rock, indie, and most anything with passion behind it.
My favorite books are The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Secret Life of Bees, and The Five People You Meet In Heaven, and The Bell Jar.
My favorite movies are V for Vendetta, Finding Neverland, Girl Interrupted, and Across the Universe.
