I think it is a wonderful opportunity to meet people from around the world. With Couchsurfing, sometimes you don't have to leave your doorsteps to find a new traveling experience. Sometimes it takes only 1 person.. or 2.. or 3... to bring a new world into your ordinary and mundane life :)
