About Me

CURRENT MISSION

work, work, work, so I can go on my next trip to Asia!

ABOUT ME

I´m an easy person to have around. I probably enjoy your company but don´t mind being on my own. If you´re lucky, I will make you the only meal that I can: Sandwiches. They´re great.
I like the occasional drink and therefore will probably enjoy any kind of nightlife in your city. Or any place else where there is beer.
Obviously, I like getting to know new people and places, and I also like writing about them.
Last thing I might need to add, I´m not a human being without 2 cups of coffee in the morning.

PHILOSOPHY

Not all those who wander are lost

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are 4 students living in a house in Pforzheim city.
We are pretty nice and as long as someone is staying in the house, there will always be some space for you.
The thing is, Pforzheim is a terrible city for tourists. It has been bombed in WW2 and now mostly consists of really ugly looking buildings. It´s not too far away from Stuttgart city though (about 40 minutes by train) and it´s student nightlife can be charming.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done quite a bit of couchsurfing overseas and looking forward to giving back a little bit of that now while I´m studying.. before I´ll continue traveling myself!

Interests

My dad always says I´m interested in too much and that´s why I couldn´t decide what to study and that that´s a good thing but I don´t think it really is cause now I´m studying economics which is what everyone does and I really wish I wasn´t intersted in that but I sort of am so now I´m trapped.

Teach, Learn, Share

Here comes my favorite story.
So I was in Vancouver, Canada, sitting in a Tim Hortons Cafe at 5am in the morning because my friend and I were killing time until we could hit the airport.
Sitting next to us was this really fucked-up looking homeless guy who was just about to smoke some crack in the middle of the cafe. After I declined his kind offer to share, we got into talking and he told me his story as to why he ended up on the street. He was tripping and probably drunk, but still his sentences were so clear and well articulated that I actually started to listen. Long story short, this guy went outside with me for a cigarette, emptied his dirty little backpack and instead of the expected beer bottles took out like 10 different books that he´s read like 30 times each. He ripped off a page, and wrote down the most beautiful poem for me that he just came up with. This encounter really touched my heart and taught me not to judge people by the way they look, smell, or how they cope with life before you know their story.
