About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've got to break free!

ABOUT ME

Friendly, honest, loyal and respecting. Extravert and introvert at the same, you have to gain my trust, thereafter I'm not responsible for the result :) Friends say I think a lot (no, really!), but also like a good talk and a good laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't figured out, since I don't have any couchsurfing-experience yet.. So, I hope I'll see the light later on and be able to answer then ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. When I travel, I love to stay in hostels, meeting people, and Couchsuring seems the level up.
Haven 't been able to attend the meetings also, they always have a bad timing and setting in Belgium it seems, but I'd love to do this one time!

Interests

Reading, swimming, laughing, cabaret/theatre, music and festivals, cooking (don't have great expectations about the skills though :)), thinking, dreaming, moustaches, perfume and good smelling people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Kaiser Chiefs, Eels, Razorlight, Vampire Weekend, Amy Winehouse, dEUS, The Van Jets, Das Pop,...
Books : Agatha Christie, J.K. Rowling, Stieg Larsson,..
and many others I can't remember at this moment(this always happens when you have to fill in such things isn't it?!), I like to read very much, so you can always please me with titles of very good books:) I really can get in books, it's an sort of easy escape :)
Movies : Le fabouleux destin d'Amelie Poulatin, Un long dimanche de fonçailles, Simple Simon, Dot The I, La dophia ora, Tot Altijd,... no horror or bad comedies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

> Sitting on the top of the roof of a hostel in Istanbul, drinking an Efes in good company and with an amazing & romantic view on the Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosk and the lights of Istanbul by night.
> Participated in a ladiesrun with my best friend, and as the sportive result wouldn't be that impressive we dressed up as Duracell Bunnies. The crowd's reaction was amazing & we got our 5 minutes of glory when we were showed on television, including a 1 minute shot of our bunnietale-asses.. Now we can die peacefully.
PS : we'd love to gather a whole Duracell Bunny-army and run the streets somewhere: anyone?

Teach, Learn, Share

Of most Agatha Christie books I can tell you who did it, mostly not the butler. I can teach you how to swear in Dutch and sew a button on.
Really usefull skills? Maybe later on.
