About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Catching the trade winds

ABOUT ME

I'm open-minded, optimistic and easy-going. I laugh and joke a lot, enjoy walking and hiking, am passionate about reading and am always glad to make new friends. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I love small cozy cafes and going to live concerts, enjoy traveling by car and would love to explore the world as well as my own country more. Oh, and yeah, I get lost all the time, even in places that I know very well.

PHILOSOPHY

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone
Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, then it's not the end
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Interests

I like laughing out loud, being outdoors, learning languages, trying something for the first time, just walking, getting lost in unknown places and finding unusual 'untourist' spots in Kiev as well as anywhere I travel. One of my major interests is psychology, I also love doing crafts and being around kids. I absolutely love pets. In fact, during my one-year stay in the US, I lived with 2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 parrots, and some goldfish in the aquarium. We also had llamas and alpacas in the backyard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This June I went to Montenegro and instantly fell in love with this country. I've never seen roads crazier, people friendlier and nature more beautiful anywhere else.
Even though I'm not really a fan of extreme sports, I once did sky-riding (it's like bungee-jumping, only you are tied to a big sling) and very much enjoyed it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach to make hand-made soap, paint with acryl on glass, and put colorful stamps on clothes. Oh, and gladly cook something from Ukrainian cuisine!
