ABOUT ME

I was born in Ukraine, but my parents moved to the Far Eastern of Russia, town called Magadan, where i grew up, graduated from school, and had my first crush. After I finished school, my family and I moved to St. Petersburg where I went to the University. I lived in Toronto for two years after graduation, but decided to come back to the motherland :)
I work at a Russian IT company, doing researh and translating technology-related articles for a marketing department.

I don't really have any couchsurfing experience yet, but I'm ready to find out what it's like. Maybe I'll host some day too!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music preferences depend on my mood and my mood depends on my music preferences... I'm not trying to escape this vicious circle, I enjoy every aspect of it. So if you introduce me to a dark synth band, I'll give it a chance for sure!
I tend to read classics and see how something, for example, Remarque would write about is so applicable to our crazy modern days.
I really enjoy dramas and psychological thrillers that explore the darkest aspects of human's nature.. One of my favourite Tv shows is The Fall.
I like to visit new places and never choose the touristic route. I'd rather pretend I'm local and point a stranger to the wrong direction :)
