Overview
About Me
I live in the very North of Russia in a city where the sun sines only 50 days a year and it`s a lucky one.
I work in the Youth Theatre as a manager of two international festivals. One of them is the Arkhangelsk Street Theatre Festival, which invites 15-20 theatre, dancing, music, circus companies from all over the world. My work is almost everything for me, especially during the festivals itself. I found my job very rewarding, because what we do is always the brightest cultural events in our city.
Apart of it I draw a little bit and watch movies.
I am open-minded, extraverted and really communicative person :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Living in a really cold and remote place I always wanted to travel around the world. I don`t want to be a tourist in a hotel with continental breakfast, exhausting excursions to sights and museums and all those chliches. I prefer to spend a few days with an insider, which can show me every day side of the city, non-tourist part. In my job I communicate with people from different countries and different cultures and I know how this can widen your world view and make your mind more flexible. Cultural exchange and new experience - this is essential.
