I'm a pretty easy going person and love to go out and discover new bars and food our flee markets. I can make really good cocktails but I'm not a big cook... I can try though.
I like meeting new people and talking to locals rather than doing the very touristic stuff.

Whenever I travel alone, I want to meet new people and get to know locals. It's amazing that people just open their homes to strangers and share their private space... you gotta love the internet.
I did couchsurfing in Sevilla in Spain once and it was really cool because the parents of my host did't speak a word of english and I don't speak spanish but somehow we were able to talk. No clue how we did it but it was definately one the best experiences I've had. They were so kind and introduced me to the entire family like I was a part of it... just amazing. It was a hundred times better than Hostels.
