I'm currently doing my physics masters and do some work as a climbing /bouldering coach for kids.
I lived in northern spain for a while and fell in love with the region (Cantabria). I hope to spend the summer travelling a lot and meeting new people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting nice people I wouldn't meet otherwise! Also, it never hurts to find some climbing partners, and I am also open for pretty much any other sport-related activity. I mostly climb (preferably outside), boulder and do a bit of acrobatics (or acroyoga, however you call it) or slackline.
Sadly I'm not really musically gifted, but I'm working on it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I mostly listen to (post-)rock, some metal and some psychedelic stuff. But as long as it isn't Rap I'll listen to anything :) Some Jazz can be nice too. I miss concerts quite a lot :)

Wand, Yob, Elephant Messiah, Tito&Tarantula, Lou Reed,..

Books:
One of my favourite childrens books is "the Brothers Lionheart" by Astrid Lindgren. There are also some fantasy series that I really like (the kingkiller chronicles for example). Paula by Isabel Allende deals with grief in a beautiful way. And I love the dry humor of Douglas Adams.

Movies/Series:
Pan's Labyrinth, Ghibli-Movies, perfect blue, the ghost in the shell - anime movie. Series: Firefly, the She-Ra reboot, Cowboy Bebop,..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I was at my first highlining festival. I did not manage a single step on the line but the people were very encouraging and the mood was amazing. Plus campfires in the evening and one of the most beautiful places to hang my hammock I've found so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you the very basics of acrobatics, slacklining and quite some bouldering or, if you can already belay, help you along in your climbing. I can also offer you a language tandem if you want to learn german :)
Can also probably help you with (university) math/physics a bit.

I'd be thankful for someone showing me a bit of surfing and speaking spanish with me, my spanish level at the moment is about B1-B2.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like cooking (vegetarian or vegan) and have no problem with cooking for a few people :)
