Because while travelling I like to dig a bit deeper than the superficial tourist trails! Also, because for me connecting with new people and sharing ideas, stories and knowledge is one of the most enriching experiences.

In St Petersburg, a friend and I got a ride back to my hostel from a lovely Russian police officer who told us about his kids and his summer cottage (dacha).

Good food and conversation, also I'd be happy to speak English or Italian with you, if you need some practice.

In exchange, I'd love to train my French/Russian/Swedish if you speak any of these languages!
