I'm currently a marine biology student with a passion for whales and dolphins. I enjoy being in nature, but I can definitely also appreciate a good night in. I've never been much for the party scene.. I'd take a night out at a brewery or out to dinner over the bars any night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a yearning to travel but don't have the finances to back it up. An online community of like-minded travelers seems like a good fit for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Allllll the comedy. Real life is scary and dramatic enough- I look for books and movies that allow me to escape the real world instead of reminding me how terrifying it can be. As for music, give me anything but mariachi or opera and I'm a happy camper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The single best experience I've ever had was when I swam with wild dolphins in Hawaii three years ago. It changed my life and gave me a sense of direction I had been searching for since graduating from high school. I knew in that moment that I didn't want to live another day without dolphins in my life and began studying marine biology the day I returned to California.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I tend to be very low-maintenance and can fend for myself if my host is otherwise engaged. That being said, I'm always happy to have company when I adventure around a new place.
