I see couchsurfing as a unique possibility to get to know an other country together with its people and its culture. To get to know all different kinds of people from different cultures can extend the view and the understanding of the world we live in. As I'm studying at the moment and don't get to travel so much, I may compensate my wanderlust while hosting other people :)
