Overview
About Me
I am currently working as an analyst for the National Health Service (NHS), having recently graduated with a degree in Cell and Systems Biology. I live with my girlfriend, who works for a chemical company as a research chemist, in a cosy 2 bedroom house in Reading, UK. My hobbies include reading, ice hockey, and drawing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got the travel bug after moving to Fiji for 3 years as a teenager and my girlfriend and I are looking for ways to travel in a more sustainable (and cheap!) way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I mostly read fiction (some of my favourites include The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King, Station 11 by Emily St John Mandel, and The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson), but I also love reading popular science books about neuroscience (the subject I specialised in at university).
Music: At the moment I cannot stop singing ABBA songs in the shower.
Films: My top 3 films are Pan's Labyrinth, The Mummy (the fantastic 90s one with Brendan Fraser not the terrible one with Tom Cruise), and In Bruges. Some other favourites include Lord of the Rings, Zootropolis/Zootopia (depending on where you live), and Indiana Jones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a bungee jump inside a massive old steel works factory near Sheffield.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to juggle (badly) and riffle shuffle a deck of cards.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Wine, chocolate, and friendly company.
