Entering the brave, new world of Couchsurfing. Excited and a bit nervous.

I live, study, work, party and everything in between in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I grew up in the country side of Sealand, Denmark. I am going to complete my bachelor degree summer 2017 in business administration and psychology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people with different backgrounds, cultures, languages, interest and so on is really cool. I think it helps me to gain a perspective on my own way of living and how I look at life. Getting to know people that are different from myself makes me a more open and understanding person, which is important.

I like to go out, get drunk and dance. So someone cool to party with that maybe has some suggestions and tips for great places is awesome.

And I cant afford to stay in a hotel. So thats that ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE Elton John, exclamation point. Also a fan of jazz, although I know very little. I listen to a lot of different genres depending on mood. I like 80s and classical music too.

Big fan of going to the theater. I spend quite a lot of money on tickets for ballet, opera and theater. Especially the Royal Danish Ballet holds a special place in my heart. I also like to watch stand-up comedy, both live and in the comfort of my bed at home.

Okay, movies. I could go on forever. I especially hold two genres dear: sci-fi and musical. Have a major crush on old hollywood stars like Clark Gable, Gene Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. Moon River might just be the best original song for a movie ever made. If we talk more contemporary I really like Tarantino and Nolan.

I know very little about litterature, but definitely eager to learn more. I guess the only reason that I dont read more books than I do is because watching a movie just seems more doable and takes much less time. Except of course if you are watching Gone With the Wind...
If I, gun to my head, had to choose a favorite book it would be Pride and Prejudice. It is a classic and Jane Austen is super badass.

Oh, and I watch a lot (read: A LOT) of TV series. I wont get into that, it would take forever...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont think that I have ever done something that qualifies as AMAZING. I have done a lot of cool and funny stuff though and have some great stories to tell. Be warned: most of them involve a generous amount of alcohol :D

Teach, Learn, Share

So I guess Im supposed to write something that I'm good at? That I can teach to others?

I am great at making christmas decorations, especially folded stars.

Knows a lot of Danish curse words and insults. Happy to share if you want to insult someone and not get punched. The probability that the one you insult knows Danish is very low. Like VERY.

Obviously I can also cook a bunch of classic Danish dishes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Danish cuisine, both the delicious parts and stories about the more bizarre parts. We have some pretty weird dishes - but then again, what country doesnt?
Don't worry, I can cook other stuff too.

Also, passionate conversations about everything from the worlds political state to whether Pringles count as chips.
