Update february 2026 :
After one month in Bishkek where I rested after several months backpacking and hosted other travelers whenever I could, I'm ready to start my journey again but I won't go East yet.
I've decided to stay in Central Asia until autumn 2026. I want to see the wonderful people I've met here again and enjoy camping, hiking and connecting with new people across Central Asia during this spring and summer !

Hi I'm Anna ! I'm 29 yo from Brittany in France.
Travelling is a big part of my life because it's my way of learning about the world, others and my self.
I truly think that people make the journey. That's why, I'm not travelling to check a list of places I want to visit but to meet people.

I'm currently traveling from France to South-East Asia by land with the goal to reach New-Zealand to do a working holiday visa there.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I truly think it's a great way to travel and connect with new people, cultures and different viewpoints. I'm not on couchsurfing to flirt but really to connect with friendly people.
The first time I used couchsurfing was in NY in 2016 and I loved it.
I have very good memories of this experience, and since then I've had many more.
I don't really care about comfort, I have a tent, a matress and a sleeping bag, so no worries if you want your privacy. I can sleep in your garden or on the floor, in you living room with my mattress.

兴趣

Travelling, reading and hiking. I like being in the nature, hanging out with friends, going in festivals, discovering new cultures or countries by travelling, learning foreign languages . I love discovering lots of different thing.
I'm always curious about how people see life, their experiences and their dreams.

I love hitchhiking and one of my dreams, it's to travel in hitchhiking all over the Europe. (it's funny because I wrote this 8 years ago when I created my couchsurfing profile, and now I'm doing it and a little bit crazier than my initial plan, I want to go to Asia by land. For that, I will do mostly hitchhiking, but also take buses and train).

I lived and I travelled almost all around Australia in a campervan ! I enjoyed it. I worked and travel during my journey, meet new people, discover the outback and australian cities, try new jobs, it was so fun !!
