Hello :) We’re Anna and Jules..

We love gin, whisky, good coffee, good music, dancing, spoken word...

We love to experience the uniqueness in every person we meet, their quirks, their desires and their passion. We're at home within weirdness.

Anna: I've been a Social Worker for 5 years working mostly in Mental Health with a passion for Community Development, LGBTIQ rights and womyns issues. I have a passion for connecting with people and looking outside the box. I also have a love for Spoken word poetry and having a dance!

Jules: I'm a musician who has spent 15 years touring Australia in different Blues, Reggae and Dub bands. I've taught Bass and Guitar on and off for years and have been a part of many Community Projects centred around music and Indigenous rights and Environmental activism.

We’re both a part of a beautiful community of activists and festival crew all around the world and have a passion for communal, sustainable and inclusive living and creating safer spaces.

We're great communicators and love a laugh and a few drinks or endless engaging conversations with new friends. We are very respectful of people's space and boundaries and will be very flexible in terms of what you desire in a guest. We love to cook, are very house trained and lots of fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to get amoungst the beauty of the places we visit through the eyes of locals...

We're currently travelling around Europe until August 2017 when we will head to the US for the Eclipse Festival and Burning Man, hopefully followed by further exploring… We’re both keen for as many wild experiences as possible.

We have always had an open door policy in our homes, and are certainly not new to the concept of couch surfing, we enjoy meeting new “family” from all walks of life and will always have space for those who are feeling lost or alone and need some friendly faces around. After this journey we will return to Melbourne, Australia, where we have and will continue to happily host people from around the world.

Music: Anything with soul, ecclectic tastes, from Afro-beat to old timey to wobble.
Movies: Anna loves cheese, Jules loves a good documentary.
Books:(Jules) My folks ran a publishing house/distribution company so I grew up surrounded by a huge amount of litrature, I particularly like dark comedy..Irvine Welsh, Bukowski, Jon Ronson I also love old underground comics.
