Overview
About Me
Recently I became a member in the group Project Mayday(s) Mix-up with the intention to experiment a little and get out of my comfort zone. I have couch surfed before however this is the first time I have taken the initiative and created an account. .. kind of really excited about it :) My mission is to live every day to the best of my ability and enjoy life.
I am a person of actions and a believer in that you are your own key to success. Exploration and learning can be done through so many different mediums but traveling is definitely one of the best. I am born and raised in the US but moved to Sweden when I was 18. Over the years I have been back and forth. Currently, I am studying my masters at Chalmers University of Technology.
I am curious of nature. I am all about making the what if's become the why not's. I love new experiences, challenges, and creative solutions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has expanded my daily circle. Through couch surfing, I have met many amazing people that I would never have come in contact otherwise. I love the quirky conversations that arise and how it confirms my belief that we want to help each other.
Interests
My hobbies include running, painting, and reading. I love trail running especially; it helps center me since it allows one to set the pace and to take in so much of the surrounding environment. Recently, I have competed in Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C., Gothenburg's half marathon, and Lidingöloppet. In addition, I enjoy both observing and creating art. A few of my favorites include Frida Kahlo and Gustav Klimt, but love experiencing new & funky creations. And given the choice between television and curling up with a book, I will always choose the latter.
