About Me
Hey! Young-traveler from Ukraine here.
Where should one start... I consider myself to be good-natured, broad-minded and spontaneously sensible. I also feel that no matter what I write here, it will mostly look basic and not fully enough to capture the essence of an individuality? (sounds so pretentious, but I am not pretentious — writing captive bios is just not my strong side). It must be said that some bios here are just pure art on its own and I envy people who are actually good at presenting themselves so way to go!
The outtake is just try chatting with me: I am fine human-being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling was my biggest dream since childhood and finally, thanks to couchsurfing, it is coming to life. I was told that I would never be able to "travel" because of how expensive it is. Well, turns out that if you trust in human kindness, will to share and learn — everything is possible. Also, that's exactly why I am here: I want to trust people, I want to share and I want to learn.
Words cannot describe how grateful I am for finding such amazing community. I am deeply thankful for all people I was lucky to meet through this online space and I look forward to what more there is to come!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Currently, I mostly listen to groovy 80s compilations, but in general different branches of rock (indie, alternative, psychedelic, post-punk) is my first place to go. Also, there are numerous electronic/ambient/bit experimental albums that I find on youtube — that counts too.
Movies: Documentaries are my number one priority. Occasionally I find myself watching historical / mystery series or some random movie based on a recommendation. I'm not a huge film geek but I do appreciate cinematography.
Books: I really like memoirs, fantasy, different academic writings connected to my field of study. I wrote not too much about literature, compared with other interests, but believe me, my life mostly consists of various texts.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a humanities' student, I'm quite interested in gender studies, politics, pop culture, physicality and art history. Decoding stuff is cool, I guess.I can say that I'm well-spoken person that can sustain interesting conversation on any kind of topic. Oh, I make art from time to time so maybe I can draw you a quick portrait or something.
I've been also told that I make tasty vegan banana bread.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you are a traveler: I can show you around, give some recommendations on any kind of topic (starting from “where to eat good local food?” and ending with “what to see?”) and help you with general “cultural immersion”. I would also like to host people, but I am not sure how to manage it right now due to COVID-19 pandemic going on (please do not forget to wear masks, wash your hands and just be safe!).
