About Me

*I ONLY RESPOND TO MEMBERS WITH REFERENCES*
Nothing personal, no hard feelings :]

I was born in Rzeszów, Poland, and I've spent most of my life there trying pretty much anything that came around - karate, ballet, gymnastics, dancing, photography. I have played in a rock band, I've fired a gun. I once swam with sea turtles in the Peruvian Pacific. I have never stopped thinking that one can achieve anything, and I have learnt that you're always better off setting aims, than dreaming.
I love abandoned places. I volunteer. I am vegetarian.
I can't and don't cook. Like, I do sometimes, but it is not the arty cooking. I strongly believe that travelling on a budget you can survive just on baguettes.
Known for making too many plans, yet fulfilling fair part of them.

I really want to go to New Zealand one day. North America, too. And revisit South America. I also really want to travel more within my country. I actually want to go everywhere.
I absolutely hate wasting food.

After a low budget European Bus Trip (3 weeks, 5 countries, 340 euro), my next big bucket-list position is an even lower, or no-budget hitchhiking one!
Recently enjoying short travels by my beloved micro camper!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first, I needed a motivation to finally get into real travelling. Then now, after a few years of travelling, I am mostly here for the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - thriller, action and Tim Burton, Into the Wild, some Marvel, loads of Disney. "Eat, pray and love". Series too, at times. "Friends" for lazy evenings.
Music - rock, metal, classical, soundtracks. Reggaeton for zumba and gym. Cumbia at occasions.
Books - J. Nesbo, S. King, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Also, the original stories of Grimm. And the popular science. "Eat me. The natural and unnatural history of canibalism" - couldn't recommend it enough!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started to set aims. Amazing or not, it made me begin to finally achieve things instead of just thinking about them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Polish, English, piano (if you have one), horsey stuff;
Learn - Portuguese, Spanish and happily anything NEW;
Share - that's the hard one. Am I supposed to say memories, or the apartment?

What I Can Share with Hosts

There is many versions of me, and I can't quite predict if you receive the "let's go party and explore", or "I just really want to hibernate now" one. Nevertheless, know that I am ALWAYS extremely grateful for hosting me, and I always try to show my gratitude as much as I can! I think what you [hosts] do is amazing, and I can't wait to have a possibility to host myself!
I like meeting new people and hanging out, but I am also good at being independent, so if you don't have too much time, that's also ok with me :)
