Hi! I'm Maja, a 24-year-old from Krakow, Poland, currently in the second year of my master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Traveling has always been my greatest passion, and I believe every journey is an opportunity for personal growth and discovery. Right now, I’m living in Porto, Portugal as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program, which allows me to not only further my studies but also explore and immerse myself in Portuguese culture.
When I’m not studying, I enjoy doing music and staying active. Like I can say I just generally do a lot trust me.

Couchsurfing has become my go-to platform for exploring new places and connecting with people from all walks of life. I love how it allows me to experience the local culture in an authentic way and make meaningful connections with locals and fellow travelers. Plus, it helps me save money while traveling, which is always a bonus for a student!

As a guest, I’m social, respectful, and tidy. I appreciate the opportunity to learn firsthand about the places I visit and always aim to leave a positive impression. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about having a place to stay, but about the enriching experiences and friendships that come from it.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had was participating in youth exchanges. These programs gave me the chance to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and step out of my comfort zone. Through them, I made friends from around the world, which
broadened my horizons. Similarly, my Erasmus exchange in Portugal has been incredible—giving me the opportunity to not only further my studies but also embrace a new culture and meet even more people along the way.
