Hello there !^^

My name is Anh Van (u can call me Anna :)),
two years ago I left everything(flat, job, friends etc) behind in Switzerland, filled up a backpack and went out there to explore our wonderful earth~

I’m a free, creative and cheerful spirit who’s a bit all over the place and overall truly spontaneous, (pretty well evidenced by the spectrum of colors my hair went through and my current life aha)

Oh and above all, I’m all about enjoying simple things like Music, Art and Nature!(I love smelling flowers, eating tomatoes and petting animals haha)

Admiring a sunset, enjoying some good time with friends and marvel at the beauty of a starry night are the things I live for~

The world has so much to offer so I just want to let myself be carried where the wind(and my wallet can)take me, living day by day.✨

And of course I’m open to meet anyone regardless of your age, ethnicity or whatever you identify as etc, cause FRIENDship knows no boundaries right?^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used Bewelcome(similar free platform)and hosted a girl from Canada and she is now like a sister! So I obviously fell in love with the concept and since the community is bigger here I decided to make an account from then on I’ve got to meet so many diverse wonderful people and made new amazing lifelong friends!

Also I got the opportunity to explore the earth in a much more immersive way(plus I’m traveling on an extra tight budget so I can’t deny it helps) I’m so grateful for such a platform connecting people with the travel spirit to exist~

Music, Movies, and Books

It can sound cliché but I can enjoy pretty much everything aha

I’m just truly interested and curious in just about anything so it’s reaaally complicated for me to choose or else I’ll find myself writing a huge essay, cause we have such wonderful ways to express ourselves;

-Music is Life! (From Rock, Jazz, Indie, Classical, Reggae, Tech Pop to Rap and maaaany more genres) I just have to listen to music everyday!

-Movies convey so well different stories, feelings, emotions and experiences through imagery, it’s captivating how many amazing pieces of art there is to enjoy out here

-Books let our imagination run simply thanks to words plus they keep the thoughts, reasonings and ideas of fellow human beings who aren’t here anymore to share

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Randomly meeting soo many lovely and amazing people who are now lifelong friends!
(For example at a concert, because of a fire, thanks to an art gallery, in a bus station, in a museum on a train, on a bus, in a restaurant, in a park, in a tattoo shop,etc…)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm I could teach you some French ;) I always try to learn a bit of the language everywhere I go so it would be lovely practice together^^
or maybe if you’re interested in drawing or painting~

I’m curious by nature so I love to instruct myself about anything since for me life is constantly all about discovering, learning and above all improving!

Oh and I love to eat (but who doesn’t aha) and cook~ so I would love to share some meals😋
