Woo travel! So much to see, so little time. I graduated from college as an engineer, started grad school, got an offer to go play soccer in Sweden, played for two years, came to Colorado, got a "real job," and then just quit because traveling >>> cubicles. I'm headed to Australia and New Zealand for the first half of 2019! Excited to meet some fellow couch-surfers.

I love reading, trail running, snowshoeing, yoga, meditating, eating tasty vegan food, soccering, rock climbing, and being outside as much as possible. Denver is a small, interesting city, but most of my time is spent in the mountains.

I'm on Couchsurfing to explore this little place we call Earth in order to learn more about myself and to meet others awesome humans. I haven’t hosted or joined anyone yet, but I’m pumped to try it and then return the favor someday.

Most music...the Lumineers and Leo Stannard right now. Book...anything from the Martian to The World Without Us to The Monkeywrench Gang. Right now I'm reading the 5 Invitations, written by a Zen Buddhist who opened a hospice center in California. The book is full of the lessons he's learned while helping people move from life to death with a mix of Buddhist teachings intertwined. Movies...LOTR, vampire movies, Kill Bill, Remember the Titans, anything that isn't based 90% on explosions
