We are adventure seekers who love meeting new people. We met in Feb 2017 in New Zealand. We are travelling around the whole of Europe, Egypt, and most of Asia.

We do acro yoga any chance we get. We are happy to share what we've self-taught ourselves. There are a lot of falls and working through moves which is great for learning how to work together in a patient, co-operative, and consistent manner. We apply this kind of attitude towards our daily lives and travels. It's a two way street and it takes work.

I am a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and am open to talk about the nitty gritty stuff (and am also happy to NOT talk about it if it grosses you out :) ). I was also a Flight Attendant and have some great stories from that career.

Reif was in the New Zealand Navy for about 7 years as a Marine Engineer, and before that was a builder. He also loves to cook and can whip up anything with the bare essentials. He's currently training to become a blacksmith, and will open up his own forge and engineering workshop once we settle in New Zealand.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We plan on traveling a lot. Not only will Couch surfing help us save money, we will also get to meet many new people on our journeys, which is what it's all about. Anyone can take pictures of famous landmarks and buildings, but we are after more of a true non-touristy experience. When we settle down we'll be able to give back to other surfers who need a place to stay.

Intereses

We have recently begun teaching ourselves acro yoga and are happy to share what we've learned. We are also really hoping to learn from someone more skilled. We enjoy having a good whiskey along with good conversation, whether it be light or heavy topics. We enjoy surrounding ourselves with new ideas and concepts, and are open to trying new things. We love rock climbing and training at the gym, but have no equipment with us. We do our best to stay active and hike when we can. We also love food, and have unfortunately adapted to having a travel bod until we go back to New Zealand. We are also very happy to take a day off and play games and relax. However, if a random adventure pops up, we'll be the first to jump at the opportunity.

Our music depends on our mood. It can range from Marian Hill to Debussy to Five Finger Death Punch to to Pavarotti. Just as long as it's not Nickleback (although we'll probably still sing along).

Quitting our jobs and making the decision to travel.
Reif has flown a helicopter, sailed around New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, and made a free standing shot at 120 meters through the heart of a 100 kilo Red Pointer Deer.
