I love being outside! I live on a property that could be described as 'rustic' at best, though referring to it as 'a ply wood shack' would be accurate as well. That said I have everything I feel I need to be happy and I spend a lot of time out side, working on growing a lot of my own food.
Aside from that I enjoy playing in the ocean, and exploring new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, the concept of couch surfing has intrigued me for quite sometime, but I have been spurred into action to create an account because I have purchased tickets to New York City to visit my cousin. Since then I haven't heard a word from her, so I have lost confidence that I have a place to stay in that city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I sailed from Hawaii to French Polynesia, taking an unusual route resulting in our first land fall being in the Marquesan islands. I then lived on the boat with one of my best friends, and our captain for three months sailing through French Polynesia. It was a blast. The boat had no refrigeration for food so we foraged for food daily, and caught and ate a lot of fish!!
