My partner Joel and I are taking six months off to travel Europe. We love walks in the forest, bird watching, and going for a swim. We are both sociable and love board games especially. I work in conservation in New Zealand, protecting the native birds from rays, stoats and possums. Joel is a gardener.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve used Couchsurfing on this account in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it. Joel and I thought it would be a great way to travel around and meet people. I have family in Germany but apart from that we don’t know anyone so we really like to meet new people

Teach, Learn, Share

I am quite good at crocheting and Joel knows a lot about plants (especially New Zealand natives but he can help you with your garden also). If you know anything about the animals or plants in your area and can teach us we would love that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share good conservation and company. Perhaps board games or going for a walk together. We are tidy and quiet and if you’re busy that’s totally okay we can find our own entertainment :)
Joel is a great cook and we will happily make dinner for you
