About Me
As long as I remember myself, i always liked meeting new people, especially from different corners around the world - thanks to my parents, who always encouraged my traveling or learning languages or studying/working abroad! :D Well, i guess the fact that some of my best friends and closest people in my life come from the States, China, Burundi, England and some other countries, sums it up pretty well.
I lived three years in China (Beijing and Ningbo), traveled a lot and i love rock music and opera - that said, i can be crazy enough both to fly to another country for a rock festival (e.g. Germany to Rock im Park) or a music show of just one band (Czeck Republic for the Goo Goo dolls or Shanghai for Yellowcard) or for an opera performance or for walking streets of Bologna from one of the favorite books - "Broker" by John Grisham. I cherish my friends and love intelligent yet a bit crazy people. Biggest travel dream so far is Australia and New Zealand and i hope i can make it in 2019! ) Oh and yes, i work in IT and deal with some serious tech stuff there from time to time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined CS several years ago when i lived in China - it was a cool way to meet new people and help them around! I was one of the organizers of different events in the bars etc. for the people, interested in CS, helping people meet each other and feel home away from home. And well, i still consider my b-day celebrations during CS event in 2014 as the best b-day party ever with all the wonderful CS community in Ningbo, China!
