Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing, because I believe it´s a great way to get to know different places and meet people from all over the world. My first contact with this type of travelling is already ten years ago, when I travelled in Spain using the online platform "Hospitaliy Club". I now migrated to Couch-surfing, because it´s more kept up-to-date.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is "Fitzcarraldo" from Werner Herzog. Great story showing Klaus Kinski at his best. I also like a lot of movies from Brazilian filmmakers, such as "Som ao redor" and "Aquarius" from Kleber Mendonca Filho. There are also fantastic documentaries like "Searching for Sugerman" from Malik Bendjelloul. Some of my favourite writers are Max Frisch, Franz Kafka, Gabriel Garcia Marques, Gioconda Belli etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding bike from Havanna to Pinar de Rio in Cuba and from the Spanish border to Lisbon. Hiking the Lycian way in South-West Turkey.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you some great places in Berlin, particularly in Neukölln/ Kreuzberg and also in the sorroundings of Berlin.
