Hello dear people!
I am an active girl from Germany who is currnetly doing Erasmus in Porto. I have always loved to learn languages and to see as much from Europe as possible. Love to spend time with nice people and I get claustrophobia from spending too much time inside and alone. There are a lot of things that I love to do, such as cooking nice vegan stuff, reading, dancing Lindy Hop and Shag, singing, riding my bike,...recently i started sailing and I love it! I also try to keep my body fit by doing a bit of Yoga and Pilates and trying to resist the escalator as often as possible :D.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the concept of couchsurfing, as I like the sharing concept in general. A society with more sharing and less money exchange seems really worthwile to me! :) Also, as I am living in a tourist city, I became to question all those cheap hostels and nice airbnb and see how they change the city so much and let the prices rise especially for the local people. I hope couchsurfing to be a more gentle way of being a tourist and of getting to now the city from a local view :). And of course I am interested in meeting new interesting people !

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to learn new languages with the help of books, music and videos so I have read Harry Potter in at least 4 and a half languages haha. Right now I am trying to read Fernando Pessoa (in English though) and I am actually a huge Stephen King fan.

Teach, Learn, Share

Traveling is nice but traveling without thinking about the impacts that each travel has is not the way I want to support. So I hope you dont come to me with an 10 Euro Ryanairs flight but if you do, well then maybe we could discuss the topic further :).
I am really concerned about the impacts that tourism has on so many cities, landscapes and the environment and try to always choose the best way to keep those impacts low.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to share a bit of my ecofriendly lifestyle and I really like to discuss topics like ecology, religion, philosophical questions and so one. Besides that I like to cook together so I hope Ill be able to show some of my simple and fast and delicious vegan recipes!
