About Me
I'm currently doing my masters in Global Security at the University of Glasgow. I did an Erasmus exchange 2 years ago in Glasgow , and I liked the city so much that I decided to come back. I like to keep contact with my friends from all around the world, even if it's nearly impossible to do that with everyone.
Like many people here, I'd like to travel around the world. My dream destinations are Iceland, Canada, Norway, Peru, Indonesia, New Zealand and Japan.
I think of myself as an honest, easy-going, open person who likes to help people. I like to get to know new people and I appreciate having deep, meaningful conversations about life in general.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that everyone who is on couchsurfing likes to meet new people, discover different cultures and speak languages. I also belong to this category of people. :) Like many of us, I'd love to travel around the world, and I think that we should help each other with our available resources to achieve this goal.
Interests
I love doing and watching sports. My absolute favourite is basketball, I follow the Hungarian championship and the NBA, but I also like to play as well. Recently I started refereeing, but I'm kind of new in this business. I'm a huge fan of snowboarding, skiing, swimming and tennis.
Cooking, playing video games are my other hobbies. I'm also a comic book fan and my favourite character is Spidey.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm basically a TV show and movie addict. I love House of Cards, Vikings, Daredevil, Homeland, the Americans, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Black Mirror, Narcos etc.. I don't really have a favourite movie, recent favourites are Gone Girl, Interstellar and the Martian, and of course I love superhero movies.
My absoule favourite book series is The Song of Ice and Fire, but I also like the Outlander series. In general I like to read fantasy and thrillers (like The Girl on the Train).
Queen makes the best music for me, but my taste of music is quite diverse. I like the Beatles, Aerosmith, AC/DC and I also listen to Kygo, Imagine Dragons, M83, Ed Sheeran or Eminem. I'm basically open to any kind of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For others it might not be extraordinary, but skiing in the Scottish Highlands was definitely an amazing experience for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently volunteering for an organisation called Language4Water. In this organisation I teach Hungarian for 10 weeks. Since we are a charity organisation, we donate all of our profits to Water Aid.
