My name is Anna, I'm 22 years old and from the very north of Germany near the Danish border. Currently I'm in the fifth semestre of my bachelor sociology and psychology studies in Jena at the Friedrich Schiller University.

I would describe myself as friendly, openminded and curouis for new things. I have the approach to be kind to everybody and never wnat to jugde before knowing someone and their background. I love spending time with my best friends and it's kind of a "replacement" for a hobby :D Next to my studies, which takes a lot of time, spending time with friends is the most fulfilling action I can i imagine. They are my family.
But I really enjoy spending time by myself, too, like reading, watching movies, listening to music or work on my dreadlock (they take a lot of time, too :D)

Furthermore I'm a impassionate festival visitor, love nature and animals, I'm a vegetarian and count myself to the psytrance scene :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to study abroad in Buenoes Aires, Argentina for one year and it's the first time I travel to another continent. It's my greatest experience so far and in this case I want to get in contact with as much different people as I can :) I think that using this plattform is absolutely the best way to realize this wish and I would be extremly glad if I could have a look at the way people live around the world and if they will show me a piece of there personality :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is psytrance, commercially known as "goa" and I usually go to psytrance Festivals.
But technically i like every type of music as long as you can dance to it!

I'm really addicted to fantasy/sci-fi movies and books, especially The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games (the books are way better than the movies).
I love Tarantino movies and I can't get enough of movies and books from the phenomenal creator and director Tim Burton!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've danced Rock'n'roll (it's a mostly in Europe centred dance) almost my whole life and was pretty passioned at it. My danceformation and I won some important championchips and I'm very, very proud of my dancecareer. After my partner moved to another city and I decided to start studying, I had to end it at all, but I remember the time as a wonderful and very formative period of my life.
