About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in Paris with an American mother and a South African father. We always had friends visiting for a night, a week, or even sometimes months, sleeping on our couch. Friends also dropped in for dinner multiple days a week, without necessarily any notice. I loved preparing dinners for everyone and showing Paris to visitors. It's partly thanks to them that I got to know my city so well, and got into cooking (one of my prime passions)! Hospitality and cultural exchange are a fundamental part of my identity. I've never ceased to host friends and friends of friends, so couch surfing is a natural continuation of this. I'm excited to use this platform to take part in this global community!
