About Me
ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Anna from Germany!
I love beer, dogs, cooking, anything creative and rock music.
I enjoy going to concerts and festivals or some good Irish pubs.
I like travelling and experiencing an intercultural exchange!
During my volunteer service in Romania from 2014-2015 I learned how to travel everywhere (especially in East Europe) without money, and how to learn the most possible about all the different cultures in a short time during my trips! I have only stayed with couchsurfing or in a tent, mostly my friends arranged it so I had a lot of crazy experiences with many awesome people! I love meeting people and listening to their stories, I think it is important to expand my horizon and view of the world.
As well, I am an expert in hitchhiking (I hitchhiked all around East Europe), I have SO many funny stories that I love to tell haha😊
So now that I am back to real life (my amazing year of traveling and meeting people from all over the world has sadly come to an end) I find it so boring! I'm a student in Münster, studying Business Administration (management) - yes it couldn't even be more boring than that, I know! - and I'm trying to make it special by adding lots of language extra courses to my schedule. Also I am currently trying to start a business with my friend from Ireland, we want to change the fashion industry into a more minimalist and conscious direction. I know it's a big goal, but why not dream big?
I am trying to travel as much as my university schedule and my two jobs allow. As well, I am highly interested in politics, so it might happen that I'll start talking about it after a few beers (but this can be prevented by telling me not to do so in advance, don't worry! :D).
PHILOSOPHY
You can never be overdressed or overeducated!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to connect. I think, if you are just a tourist in some hostel or hotel and explore a place on your own, you don't "really" learn anything about the culture, the city, the history, whatever. It's definitely much better to stay with an "insider" and experience a cultural exchange and just have fun together.
