Overview
About Me
I am a PhD student in Oxford (or DPhil in Oxford term) studying Jupiter’s atmosphere using computer simulations. (Please don’t see me as an astronomer as I know little about telescopes and/or stars). I am a physicist by training and a programmer when my study requires. In my free time I also try to balance between my thousands of hobbies. My friends say that I have a weird sense of humor.
Currently I live in shared accommodation with very little space so wouldn’t be able to host people. In the future I might do so if space permits.
Pfp taken on a train in Japan (yes I am in that photo, a bit tired with cycling though…)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend drags me in when I mentioned a recent trip and I think this might be a good chance to meet new people outside my normal social circle.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is really stretched. I mostly listen to light music, but also hip-hop, rock (Queen) or classical when I feel like so.
Favorite movie(s): lord of the ring (still trying to catch up on the books…)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built a gingerbread house based on my grandparents’ old house.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m a quite person that would find it comfortable staying alone, but wouldn’t mind sharing stories of my cycling trips or my knowledge of physics. I can also cook/teach simple (sometimes) Chinese dishes.
