About Me

Hello everybody!!! ;-)
My name is Anna, I am 23 years old and I am a trained dietitian from Germany.
To describe me in a few words I would say I am a honest, responsible and open minded person who loves laughing and enjoys being alive. I am really into going out, dancing and talking to people but I also appreciate being on my own a lot and love for example to enjoy the beautiful nature around us. I am very interested in different cultures, different ways of living and seeing life.
Therefore I would also love to use couchsurfing as a gorgeous opportunity to expand my horizon ^^ .
What doesn’t mean you have to talk to me for hours! I think the small things in life matter the most and many of them built a great puzzle of inspiration and experiences that affects your life positively!!! :-D
Additionally I would love to use couchsurfing as an opportunity to see the places from the view of a resident and not a tourist - often the most beautiful places are very hidden and it's quite hard to find them. So it would be stunning if you could give me great impressions of places to go!!! :-)
Besides that I am really keen in learning more about the special or traditional cuisine of the different countries and regions.
In my job as a dietitian I am trying to treat an illness with a special diet so that you can heal the person or at least to help them to life a better life with less pain. I am convinced that every traditional cuisine has its own pros that could be used for treating different diseases, for example very less dishes in Asia use milk and milk products. Therefore almost all of them could be eaten by a person who is lactose intolerant. This would offer the person a new big variety of dishes possible to be eaten and would help them not just being focused on the stuff not possible to eat as in their hometown maybe a lot of stuff was made with milk. I would love to get and use this new knowledge to help my clients living a better life, so that they get a big variety of tasty food they are able to eat and reach some point of happiness again and not just feeling like a leprous who is not allowed to eat anything that tastes good.
Additionally to that I am dreaming of having an own café with specialities/meals and cakes from all over the world. (In that café I would also love to offer people with special dietary treatment a variety of food.)
Therefore I would really love to develop my knowledge about nutrition and how to prepare different kind of food, how to use spices, and the local cuisines of each country.
It would be a pleasure for me if I could help you preparing meals (for example how to cook tasty currys, baking bread, making cheese, and so on...). But I could also show you some recipes from my home town if you wanted me to!!! ;-)
What else about me? Since 3 years I'm working in a small, rustic bar as a waitress as a side job and I really love it. It’s so gorgeous spending time in a stunning atmosphere and having magnificent characters around me. I enjoy that a lot. Therefore I am really looking forward to meeting all of you.
In this sense – See you soon dudes! ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was in England and spent such a gorgeous day by the cliff side. Then I wanted to go back to my host family by bus but I was already a little late. When I arrived running to the bus station I saw how the bus just started to drive away and was waving the bus driver behind that he should stop again and pick me up. Somehow I had quite a lot of luck at that day and the bus driver really saw me and stopped again. I got into the bus and the bus driver laughing at me and was just like "Oh girl you had quite a lot of luck that I saw you, this was the last bus for today on this route!" Haha, often my luck is better than my planning skills!!! ^^
