Overview
About Me
I am a biology student in Heidelberg. I am fascinated by science and I devote most of my time for it. I am currently doing my master in infectious diseases.
On the other hand I am interested in different cultures and people, I try to understand political situations and conflicts in other countries.
I am not a big fan of small talk (to be honest, I am just quite bad at it), but I enjoy long conversations about random topics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I stop for street performers, I travel to foreign places, I spend several hours looking out of the window watching people passing by, I study behaviours of birds in a group - I try to take in as much of the world as possible. Everyone carries a story that makes them who they are and therefore everyone has a slightly different view point. It is a difficult task to carefully listen to them when they are willing to share their story. This is what couchsurfing teaches me - so that it allows me to get an open mind and to loose all prejudices.
Interests
Many conversations I have start with the phrase "there was an interesting TED talk I saw / article I read about..."
- traveling
- biology
- science
- ted talks
