My name is Anna.

From a young age I loved sports, including: iceskating, running, sailing and (wind)surfing. Five years ago I found a way to share my passions, I started to work an watersports & iceskating instructor. I absolutely love it.

After high school I bought a VW van, built a bed in it and filled it with all my windsurf gear. Even though people told me I was crazy, I decided to make a solo roadtrip to Tarifa and from there covering the whole Portugese, Spanish and French coastline. During this trip I fell in love with the concept of couchsurfing. I think this is the ultimate change to have the purest travel experience. The opportunity to share passions, thoughts or just some time made me so grateful. I could not wait to host people myself.

In 2015 I started my study Medicine (combined with Health Sciences and Biomedical Sciences) in Amsterdam. I work as a tutor now and I am very active in the commitees at our University. Furthermore love to make pictures, hike and make nice dinners with my friends. And yes, ofcourse we know how to party in the capital.

Currently I am backpacking for 2.5 months through Indonesia and Vietnam. It is the best thing I have ever done and I am loving every second of it.
