I am a student of Psychology. I am a volunteer in a public hospital, in the children phych ward, as well as Positive Voice, an organisation for the rights of people with HIV. I also work part time when I can find work.
I am generally an easy going person. I enjoy meeting new people, either at work or when I'm travelling. It's usually easy for me to find common ground and topics of conversation with people I meet. I actually really like meeting people who have different tastes than me, it gives us both a chance to learn things we never even thought about.
I think of myself as a pretty discreet person. Maybe I'm not the most tidy person, but worry not! I always respect other people's space!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing recently, as I was planning a trip with a friend. As I familiarised myself with the site I came to really like the concept of couchsurfing. I am not currently accepting guests since I live with my parents, but I hope to be a host once I get my own place. I think it's a wonderful way to travel the world as well as meet different people and different cultures.

Interests

Volunteering is a large part of my life right now. I love the theatre, having coffee with friends, concerts, and I love going out in Athens by night! I love camping on greek islands during the summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a very hard question to answer. There's no way to write everything down, so I hope we meet and do it face to face! I can go for hours :P Plus, I'm always looking for some suggestions!

Currently: binge watching Shameless and discovering that there are, in fact , kinds of music other than rock I might enjoy. My friend got me into Plan B recently - that guy is fantastic. Last movie I saw, the Arrival, which I thought was fantastic. Last play I saw at the theatre was a horrible rendition of Hamlet. Reminded me why experinmental plays are always a gamble.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't really know what to say to this. I can definitely teach you some greek swear words. If there's time, I can teach you normal stuff too! If you don't have refined taste in food, I can cook something extremely simple for you as a thank you!
Also, we get loads of free condoms at my volunteer work, so I can definitely bring you some - safe sex is cool! :P
