About Me

I consider myself a chronic dabbler. Some things I like to dabble in arts, music, language, photography, yoga, and exploration through travel during my free time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From the first time I met a traveling CS-er, I have really been intrigued by the whole concept. I feel like I'm a late bloomer in the world of travel, but in the last couple years, I've been feeling this "I'm where I need to be" moments while traveling. I believe that the best way to get to know a place (besides getting lost in it for hours) is the interactions we have with individuals living in the city. CS provides such a great platform for just... all of it! Every CS experience I have had thus far has only strengthened that belief.

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult question because I like most things...

Chill music: Currently obsessed with Emancipator
Movies/TV: Am a serial binger of TV shows. Recent favorites: OA and Good Place. I also like documentaries or docuseries about random health topics.
Books: I have bookmarks in a couple of books at the moment. The Twelfth Insight, Heart Math, and The Creativity Cure are some. If I had to pick a favorite book though, I would really have to go with Ella Enchanted.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching fine motor skillz to kiddos at my school.

Learning with a beginner's mindset.

Sharing with an open heart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My ability to talk about food (especially cheese) for a very extended period of time. I usually bring rocks/gemstones and suminagashi cards on travels to leave for my gracious hosts.
