About Me

After I graduated from high school in 2015 I decided to leave my home and lived abroad in Canada for almost a year. After this journey many more followed during the next years.
Right now I study Business Psychology in Darmstadt and I use every opportunity to visit some friends around Germany or to make new friends on my travels.
I never tried couchsurfing before so I hope you don't mind my lack of references :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is a great way to experience a foreign city - not just as a typical tourist. Instead
you get to know locals in their everyday life and learn about the places they love in their city. Once I stayed at a friend's house which was constantly full of couchsurfers. I absolutely enjoyed my time over there and made many new friends within just a week. That is why I want to try couchsurfing on my next trip. Seems to me like a perfect way of getting to meet new people especially when you are traveling by yourself. As soon as I move into my own place (not just my way too small shared apartment in Darmstadt) I will be very happy to host guests myself.

Interests

I enjoy a good evening at a restaurant, the cinema, the theatre or a bar as well as going shopping, visiting a museum, spending way too much money on concert tickets or just have a walk through a beautiful city in the early evening hours.
In general I love to spend my time outside and relax in a park or by a lake. Whenever something is going on the city you will probably find me there.
By moving to Banff I got the chance to go snowboarding at least twice a week, which is my favorite sport. Although I am not the most ambitious and competitive person when it comes to sport, I never stop trying new things such as hiking, surfing or snowshoeing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mighty Oaks, Von wegen Lisbeth, James Bay, Beatsteaks, Kakkmaddafakka

My all time favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings series and I love binge watching TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Suits or Shameless.

The best book I know is The Physician by Noah Gordon - I can read it over and over again.

I am open to all kinds of hobbies and love getting to know new bands.
Also it would be great to learn a little French or to improve my Spanish.
In exchange I could teach you some German if you are interested.
