I am an open minded person, who is always curious in getting to know new people, new countries and other cultures.
I just finished High School and I am now doing a voluntary service in a Special School in Kenya.
I am new to couchsurfing and I am looking forward to make my first experiences!

Also I can offer a couch for up to two or three people in my apartment, which I am sharing with two other volunteers from Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the end of last year i came to Kenya to do a voluntary service. I live together with my also German roommates and one of them introduced me to couchsurfing. She told me about some exciting and nice trips she already made with couchsurfing and about all the nice people she met.
I was very surprised that couchsurfing is a worldwide community and I like that it gives me the opportunity to travel all over the world in such an easy and cheap way.
Furthermore I am very interested in getting to know other people from different countries and in learning something about different cultures.

Interests

I am very into music, especially making Music in a group. I played the clarinet for several years and was a member of my school orchestra and a clarinet ensemble.
Since I was a small kid I also had singing lessons and joined several choirs.

Furthermore I love to work with children, which is also why I am currently working in a School for mentally handicapped children.

I spend my free-time mostly with my friends - nothing is more important to me than being there for my friends and sharing a good time with them.
I especially enjoy going out, being spontaneous and just having fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to a lot of different kinds of music.
What I really enjoy is seeing Musicals, or going to live-concerts.
For example Tarzan, Dance of the Vampires and of course the Lion King!
My favorite German Band is Tokio Hotel but I also love musicians like Beyonce, Imagine Dragons, Pink and Rihanna.

I am not really into reading books, but when I read it is mostly from Nicholas Sparks.

I like German movies with Til Schweiger and Matthias Schweighöfer.
Furthermore I like American series like Skins, the Vampire Diaries and Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went swimming with Dolphins in the middle of the ocean nearby the beautiful island Zanzibar.
It was such an amazing experience to be so close to these animals without harming them in their natural habitat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn some new cooking skills and to share music and movies.

I am always interested in hearing some funny and exciting stories ;-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my personal experiences I made during my travels in eastern and southern Africa.
Also I can teach you some German or kidogo Kiswahili if you are interested.

But above all I would like to have a nice time together and get to know some cool people. :)
