About Me

Hi, I'm Anna from Denmark.
I find joy in nature and a nice cup of tea with a good conversation.
At a party, you'll most likely find me on the dancefloor.
Currently I'm trying to figure out what I should do with this life, and the best way to do that is to travel, try different things and meet different people.
Since graduating high school in 2017, I've worked in a supermarket, been an au pair for 11 months in Spain, moved from my parents' house to the 2nd biggest city in Denmark and worked in a daycare + a bunch of silly adventures in between.

I might start studying biology in 2020 - if I feel like it ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A stranger is a friend you haven't met yet. It sounds so cliché but that is something I truly believe, none of us are that different after all, if we keep an open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Simon and Garfunkel is the sound of my childhood home, but nowadays I listen to everything. If it makes me think and/or feel, I'll like it.

Haven't watched that many movies in the past two years (I don't own a TV), so here I'll just put Mulan.
I have some favourite youtubers I follow though. Mostly environmental awareness and sustainable fashion channels -and some just for fun :)

As a child I loved fantasy books, especially a trilogy written by a danish writer, Krigeren. I recently re-read the whole thing and was surprised by the things I learned from reading it as an adult.
Think Like a Freak by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner is also one of my favourites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you a little bit about Denmark, our language and our culture. I also know how to fold an origami crane and elephant.

I'd love to learn just about anything!
