About Me
Hi, guys! My name is Anya and there are so many things that are interesting for me.
I like to travel a lot and I`ve been in so many places already, but there are still much more to see!
I love cooking and I spend a lot of free time reading or watching about it. One of my greatest dream is to go on a gastronomic tour (for example, to Georgia).
I like sport, especially swimming and running. Recently I tried climbing, and I also liked it very much.
I am an economist by education. To my great regret, I am not very well versed in finance, but I am very good at econometrics and applied mathematical methods in economics.
P.S. I always dance crazy dances to 80s music and I absolutely love it! (and I`m not ashamed at all ;) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that the best way to learn the culture of another country is to meet and communicate with people who were born (or just lived long enough) in this country.
So, couchsurfing gives the perfect opportunity!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once in Italy, on Garda Lake, I and my friend took bicycles to drive all the lake around. We knew that, according to the forecast, it was going to rain after dinner. But we just closed our eyes to it.
As a result, we got into the strongest storm. Trying to escape from the weather, we lost each other and have been looking for each other in the rain for a long time.
Now I laugh at it, but then I was really scared!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you cook traditional Russian dishes such as borscht, Russian pancakes (blini) and even pirozhki (small Russian pies)!
And by the way, I'll be very excited if you could teach me some good cooking techniques (especially of your traditional cuisine).
