Overview
About Me
I love to travel, meet interesting people and see new places :)
********************
Beforehand, please note that I'm not up for any kind of romantic or sexual encounters. I've seen that this platform is often misused as a way to get a date.
I am here to help people out, get support and have interesting social and cultural encounters. Don't take it personal if I say I can't hang out. I might be busy and I also have my personal life.
Tengo interés en conocer gente linda y de buscar nuevas amistades, pero no quiero salir en citas románticas. Gracias por respetar eso ;)
********************
To give you a bit of an idea of who I am, here are some of the main topics that might interest you:
PEOPLE
I'm a communicative, outgoing person who loves to spend time with lovely people and learn about other cultures. I'm known as being open minded and direct. My friends appreciate the most that they can talk with me about everything, that I take them the way they are and motivate them to do better every day :)
As much as I like to be around others, I also enjoy time on my own and I understand when someone else wants to have it quiet too. I respect privacy and am very honest and fair.
PLACES
I grew up in a city, but I also love to spend time in nature. I specifically like warm places, forests, the ocean, mountains and all kinds of animals (eccept mosquitos, flies and so :P).
INTERESTS
I like cooking for friends and family. I mostly eat vegetarian and look for organic, seasonal and regional products.
I love to move and have always been a free-time dancer. I can get lost for hours in my drawings, I like to take photos, do all kinds of sports from bike riding, running, calisthenics to yoga and always look for ways to educate myself.
I enjoy attending cultural events like art exhibitions, balls, theater plays, concerts.
Riding my motorbike gives me a sense of freedom and helps me clear my mind.
I like to engage into deep philosophical conversations.
Sometimes I make a fool out of myself just to make people laugh.
LIVING
I'm a very tidy and clean person. I enjoy seeing how other people live and love all the diversity and differences.
If you've got any more questions, just ask. I'll be happy to answer them.
PHILOSOPHY
Write "cherry" at the end of your message, so that I know that you actually read my overview.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine recommended it to me. I think it's a nice way to get in touch with people from foreign places. Especially when you're visiting a country where you have practically no other connections yet.
As a host I want to make people feel welcomed and relaxed. I love the idea of sharing and supporting each other. It is also a beautiful way to meet new friends from all over the world.
As a couchsurfer my ideal is to also bring an extra value to the person I'm staying with. That can be by spending some quality time together, by helping out with chores or supporting in an other possible way.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are loads. I don't have one specific favourite though.
BOOKS: about psychology, philosophy, advertising, science, art, biographies, adventure, fantasy and romantic novels
MOVIES: I like adventure-, comedy-, love-, documentary- and fantasy genres.
MUSIC: I'm pretty flexible, I find something good in almost every genre. The only genre I don't really like is folk music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parashooting, a helicopter tour, riding on a motorbike to the top of a volcano, sleeping in a tent on a van with ocean view, diving on the Philippines... but for real: all the little, kind actions I did for others are the most amazing things I can think about. I live by the principle: think about what you can do for others instead of what they can do for you.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can TEACH: drawing, german, french, english, cooking, concepting, styling, (creative) writing and probably a lot of little things that I know.
I want to LEARN: how to dance salsa well, new languages (currently Portuguese and Italian), how to work independently as a digital nomad, perfectionate my foreign languages.
I like to SHARE: knowledge, stories, nice conversations, time and ideas, kindness.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A nice, safe place to stay. Time, smiles and help, I mentioned a few things already in the above.
