I am an open-minded person, i like to travel around, meet new people, learn a lot and enjoy life.
I recently finished my Bachelor Degree in Social Work. It took 3,5 years and I realized that I need to go abroad again before I start living in one spot and have a "regular working life" or do my master degree - I was spending quite a bit of time abroad in my live already, and all those experiences are definitely what made me seek another adventure - so South America here I come :-)

After graduating from High School in 2017 I lived in New Delhi from August '17-August '18 and did a voluntary service in a school there. I decided to take another Gap year before going to university- so I lived pretty much in the middle of nowhere in a eco community in Alberta, Canada from October ‘18 to June ‘19; learnt a lot of skills (can fix and build stuff now) and met amazing people. Got to know that I can survive -30 degree, lol.
Then I started university back in Germany. I went for a course called "Philosophy, Art and Social Entrepreneurship" but it was not exactly what I wanted to do, so I switched and started studying Social Work - from what I recently graduated. The plan now is to travel as long as possible and then either do a Master degree back in Germany or start working as a Social Worker, either in Germany or somewhere else.

I am pretty spontaneous though, so I am always up for changing plans and trying to just go with the flow.

Soy una persona abierta, me gusta viajar, conocer gente nueva, aprender mucho y disfrutar de la vida.
Hace poco terminé mi licenciatura en Trabajo Social. Me tomó 3,5 años y me di cuenta de que tengo que ir al extranjero de nuevo antes de empezar a vivir en un solo lugar y tener una "vida de trabajo regular" o hacer mi maestría - Yo estaba pasando un poco de tiempo en el extranjero en mi vida ya, y todas esas experiencias son definitivamente lo que me hizo buscar otra aventura - por lo que América del Sur aquí vengo :-)

Después de graduarme de la escuela secundaria en 2017 viví en Nueva Delhi de agosto '17-agosto '18 e hice un servicio voluntario en una escuela allí. Decidí tomarme otro año sabático antes de ir a la universidad, así que viví prácticamente en medio de la nada en una comunidad ecológica en Alberta, Canadá, de octubre de 18 a junio de 19; aprendí muchas cosas (ahora puedo arreglar y construir cosas) y conocí a gente increíble. Aprendí que puedo sobrevivir a -30 grados.
Luego empecé la universidad en Alemania. Estudié Filosofía, Arte y Emprendimiento Social, pero no era exactamente lo que quería hacer, así que cambié y empecé a estudiar Trabajo Social, de lo que me he graduado hace poco. El plan ahora es viajar todo lo que pueda y luego hacer un máster en Alemania o empezar a trabajar como asistente social, ya sea en Alemania o en otro país.

Soy bastante espontánea, así que siempre estoy dispuesta a cambiar de planes y a dejarme llevar por la corriente.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet locals and other travelers. You get a lot of new contacts, great conversations and memories, what I found to be very valueable and useful while traveling. It´s so great to see how huge and amazing a community of people who believe in the philosophy of couchsurfing can be.

Couchsurfing es una gran oportunidad para conocer gente local y otros viajeros. Consigues un montón de nuevos contactos, grandes conversaciones y recuerdos, lo que me pareció muy valioso y útil mientras viajaba. Es genial ver lo grande y asombrosa que puede llegar a ser una comunidad de personas que creen en la filosofía de couchsurfing.

Interests

Traveling is one of my favorite activities, what might not be a surprise because this is a profil on a traveling website.

In general I am interested in a lot of different things, and sometimes only for a short time, because I find something else I want to explore profound. But my "all time interests" (until now haha) are definitely politics, sociology and philosophy- I love to deepen my knowledge in those categories and have hours of conversations about stuff according to those things.

I like everything related to nature, always up for hiking, camping, etc. :)

Viajar es una de mis actividades favoritas, lo que puede no ser una sorpresa porque este es un perfil en un sitio web de viajes.

En general me interesan muchas cosas diferentes, y a veces sólo por poco tiempo, porque encuentro algo más que quiero explorar en profundidad. Pero mis "intereses de siempre" (hasta ahora jaja) son definitivamente la política, la sociología y la filosofía- me encanta profundizar mis conocimientos en esas categorías y tener horas de conversaciones sobre cosas acordes a esas cosas.

Me gusta todo lo relacionado con la naturaleza, siempre estoy dispuesta a hacer senderismo, acampar, etc. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to indie, alternative, pop punk, punk rock and metal core - but I am always up for new music influence and pretty easy going if it comes to music (as long as it is not German "Schlager" Music, which is definitely the worst genre I can imagine).

My fav movies r Into the wild, on the road and requiem for a dream.
I read a lot but I don´t really have a favorite book. But the book I liked the most in the past years was "Die Känguru Chroniken" by Marc-Uwe Kling, what is basically a book about a communist kangoroo living together with a crazy artist- never read something that funny but with so much reasonable social critism before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

But I think so much things are amazing so it is not important to give the title "one amazing thing I´ve done".
I recently made a one week road trip through Iceland, and that definitely blew my mind, because the nature was just beyond everything I´ve ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my (vegan) cooking skills, teach a little bit of German or give you some travel tipps for European Countries :)
I am currently trying to learn Spanish so I would be happy to learn more, also I would like to learn something about the country you live in, the culture, cuisine and more :)
