Hello to everyone,

My name is Anna-Lena, I'm a 19 year old girl from Germany, Bavaria. I finished highschool in May 2014 and traveled with my best friend Nina for 8 months during our gapyear. We spend one month in Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore), 5 months in Australia and 2 months in New Zealand. Our Journey was amazing! We met so many great people, learned a lot and don't regret anything.

I'm going to university in October, if I know what to study by then. So I don't know yet, where I am going to live. However, I'm going to stay in my parents house during the time until uni starts and you are more than welcome to stay with us. We live in a small town so there is not a lot to do, but you could stay with us, enjoy real Bavarian food, meet my big family and relax in our pool. We can make trips to Augsburg, it's just 25 minutes with the car or to Munich (1 hour drive). The people I met via Couchsurfing have done so much for me and my friends, so I would be happy to do the same for other backpackers and travelers :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

When I was traveling during my gapyear, my travelmates and me did a lot of couchsurfing. We had awesome experiences, found longterm friends and explored the real lifestyle of the different countries. The hospitality of all the C/S was just incredible and I really hope I can do the same now!

I think the best way to explore the world is to stay with locals and spend time with them.

I love to travel and meet new People, especially locals :-) Listening to all the travel stories makes me want to travel more and inspires me where to go.

I play the clarinet and the bass, so I love making music and playing in the orchestra and in the band. However, I also like listening to music of all kinds.

I did a Skydive in New Zealand over the Abel Tasman National park - it was amazing!
