About Me

Hello there, I am Anna and I am currently trying to get to know as many stories about life, people, places and the secrets of this wonderous world as possible.

Besides that, I am studying, trying to become a teacher for elementary school classes one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do have to admit that I sadly am not able to host any travellers at the moment, because I live in a really really small room, but I hope that this will change in the next months, cause I am full of curiosity and would enjoy encountering the world in form of some visitors in my own four walls.
So at the moment, I am using the time I have to travel around and would be absolutely pleased to connect being able to travel despite having little money with meeting people, seeing different spaces and ways to live and share a few stories along the way.
This is pretty much the reason why I wanted to try out Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am totally and absolutely in love with Herrmann Hesse´s works, when I read his novel "Siddhartha" first, it was like listening to Hendrix´s "Electric Ladyland" for the first time - you just know that there won´t be anything better to come:)
Besides Hesse, I really am into Brecht, since I am very interested in his "Epic Theatre", I also love Rilke, Rose Ausländer and poetry in general as well as the short stories of Ray Bradbury, whoms novel "Fahrenheit 451" is one of my favourite books as well. The list is long... :)
As for music, my first love has alsways been The Beatles ( I´ve been jealous on Yoko Ono ever since, cause John clearly was supposed to be my man), as I grew older, I discovered the magical, knowing and fulfilling works of Jimi Hendrix as well as the power of blues music and am really in love with John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Richie Havens and Otis Redding, Led Zeppelin, Julie Driscoll and pretty much the whole music of the Woodstock Era, additionally I am into some german bands/musicians like Käptn Peng and I have to admit that my Arctic-Monkeys and other Brit-Pop-Indie-Dreamy bands-phase isn´t over yet as well... :)

Teach, Learn, Share

There is soo much to learn and share! At the moment, I am more or less desperately trying to get back into speaking French and would really enjoy talking to somebody in French (although it will be pretty difficult to communicate only using the language up to now;)
What I would really love to share and do with new people I meet along the way, would be making music together and jamming out, I really am not a professional and only have a little ukulele and some piano skills, but if You do feel the muisc and would be down for a spontanious blues jam or just some random singing improvisation and percussion with kitchen materials or anything like that, it would make my heart happy to the core:)
I am looking forward to share that with you!
