Hi you :)

I'm Anna, 22 years old and I'm currently on a hitchhiking trip across Europe.
I don't yet know exactly where I'm going and how long I'll be on the road, but I'm looking forward for all the people and places on the way.
When I'm not traveling, I study landscape ecology in Münster (Germany) and write short stories and currently my first novel. That's why I'm always looking for some inspiration while traveling. ;)

Over the last few years, I've tried out a lot and stuck my nose into everything that interests me. If you like, I'd be happy to tell you more about it. From whale counting, bird watching and organizing ocean-protection seminars, to psychology, bloody hospital stories and underground parties in Norway, there's a lot to tell ;)
But for now I'm studying landscape ecology, work as a barista and write.
In between, I spend a lot of time with friends dancing (HipHop and Vogue), making collages or doing trips into nature. Whether it's swimming, cycling, hiking or just lying in the sun and looking at the clouds.

During the semester breaks and whenever the city gets too crowded, I like to set off to see new places and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend showed me Couchsurfing a few months ago when we hitchhiked to Prague. I immediately thought it was cool!
I love the idea of not just visiting tourist spots in a new place, but meeting new people and being able to exchange thoughts and ideas with them. That's how you really get to know a place and not just the facade.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending two months in Norway with two strangers who became great friends. Sleeping on a new beach every night, going for ice-cold swims, climbing and meeting lots of new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to share everything I have! Mostly good mood and conversations, because everyone has something interesting to tell, but I'd also love to bake my best cinnamon buns for you. ;)
Of course I am also happy to help around the house, e.g. with cooking, laundry, washing dishes or babysitting.
