I'm Anna-Louise, I come from Ireland, and I'm a singer who travels around a lot for work and experience, and loves to meet and and make new friends everywhere I go.
I'm house-trained, child-friendly, pet-friendly, very clean, tidy, respectful. and discrete. I can be a guest you barely realise is there, or a new friend, ready to chat about life, the universe, and everything :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm a professional singer at the beginning (read: expensive AND low-earning) part of my career.
I'm based in Berlin and that's where I pay rent (and house other visiting singers when they need!), but when I have a contract in another city, I often have to pay two rents, and sometimes I can't find short/medium-term rental contracts, and have to spend far too much money in uncomfortable and chaotic 6-bed dorms. Believe me, the paycheck does NOT cover the expense, and it can be quite lonely.

Right now, I'm stuck for ~4 nights per week in April in Hamburg while I rehearse a production there, and would love to have somewhere to lay my head down and take a shower. If hosts want a discrete, quiet, barely-there guest, I can do that. If hosts want to chat, I'm more than happy to make new friends and connections :)

Stood up to an abusive colleague in a superior position and reported him for harrassment and bullying and manipulation, which prompted former colleagues of his to come forward and report his treatment of them in previous years.
