I am a photographer and active travel guide from NJ, living in Palm Springs, CA!

For the summer, I am working as a trip leader for Backroads.

I LOVE to travel (duh), and have been to 23 countries and 27 US states! I love learning languages, and I can speak English, Spanish, and Italian (but I need practice!). My favorite foods are Italian, Greek, and Mexican, but I am always willing to try new things! My boyfriend, Jorge, and I travel together sometimes too. My dream is to be able to photograph people around the world, wherever I am, in the streets of a city or on the beach or in small villages, and get paid for it! But most of all, I love traveling and meeting new people, and experiencing the local culture of wherever I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that traveling should involve interacting with the local culture and staying with locals. That means couch surfing! It would also be great to practice Spanish/Italian/other languages as well!! And learn new skills from each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had an opportunity to hike for two days through the indigenous villages of Bocas del Toro and stayed with a local family. We spent time playing with the children, cooking, hiking around the beautiful landscape, taking photos, and meeting locals. It was such an amazing experience because we got to experience a new culture. I will never forget it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to dance! Salsa, bachata, hip hop, but also would love to learn new dances. I could teach you too! I do ballet as well.
I would like to learn about the city I am in! (the history, the slang, the traditions, the food) and learn more Spanish/other languages.
I could teach you about photography, photoshop, and art! And anything you want to know about NYC / the US / the places I've been.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My photography skills! And I can cook a little bit, but maybe you can teach me a thing or two! I can also help you with your English or Spanish or Italian!! And I can tell you about what to do and see in NYC for cheap, as well as anywhere else I've traveled!! I love sharing my tips and tricks about travel, and I even started a blog for sharing my stories.
