Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's easier to get to know a place you travel by staying with a person who lives there. And I just like to meet different people from other places in the world. Also: I'm a poor student and can't afford expensive accommodation.

Interests

I'm dancing in a carnival club since I'm 4 years old (show dance) and I always enjoy learning other kinds of dances. Being member of a carnival club I also love dressing up. Another love of mine is seeing new amazing places that I can take pictures of. I'm very much into photographing landscapes/nature. But I also like meeting different people from all over the world which helps me learning new things about different cultures and cultural phenomena.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have favourites.
When it comes to music I listen to anything that moves me either physically or emotionally...or both. I love learning song texts btw. Some people call me a living jukebox.
I like to have a good laugh, so I suppose when it comes to movies I'm into comedies. But I also enjoy deeper stuff.
Same with books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a thing a lot of people do, but for me it was a big step and an amazing experience: I travelled through Oz (Australia actually, but I like to picture myself as Alice in Wonderland) on my own and learned a lot about myself during these five months.
